June 28 the chairman of the HFR High Council Sergey Shishkarev visited Novorossiysk, where he met with the leadership of HC Chernomorochka, in particular, with the new CEO of the club Oleg Frolov and the new head coach Aleksey Gumyanov.
They informed the head of the HFR about how the preparation for the season goes, reporting that the set-up of the team is complete and more than ten new players joined the team. The players are still on vacation, but they will come together soon.
Gumyanov spoke in detail about the nearest training session of the youth national team of Russia, which he heads: the first session will be held in Togliatti from 6 to 20 July, the second one will take place in Chekhov from 26 July to 3 August. It will be devoted to the preparation for the II Games of the CIS countries handball tournament in Brest, which is to be held 4-10 August.

— I regularly visit my home town Novorossiysk. This time I managed to come to the location of football club Chernomorets, which has already begun preparations for the new season in the national Football League. I also held a working meeting with the new management of Chernomorochka, which will debut in handball Olimpbet Super League. The team has already made a tangible step forward and will try to reach the top five of the country. It is headed by an experienced coach Aleksey Gumyanov, who won bronze medals with HC Zvezda last season.
Moreover, he will continue to work with the youth team of Russia, which will have to work seriously in the near future at the training session in Togliatti and Chekhov and prepare for the CIS Games in Belarus. Taking into account acute shortage of international matches, participation in such tournament seems to be very important.
