Olimpbet Super League. Officially. HC Rostov-Don confirmed the appointment of the Olympic champion Eduard Koksharov to the post of head coach

HC Rostov-Don official website announced the name of the new head coach.
 
The Olympic champion in Sydney Eduard Koksharov became the successor of Slovak Tomas Hlavaty. The specialist has already joined the Rostov team on the training camp in Zvenigorod.
 
Koksharov was born in Krasnodar, where he started to train handball. He played for HC SKIF Krasnodar, RK Celje and HC Chekhovskie medvedi.  He played most of his career in Slovenian club, with which he won the Champions League during 2003/04 season, became multiple champion of the country and Slovenian Cup winner. 
 
As a player Koksharov was one of the best left wings in the world. Besides the title of an Olympic champion he added the bronze at the Athens Games, winning the 1997 World Championship and silver medals at the World Championships in 1999 and 2000.   

Koksharov started training career in 2014. He headed HC SKIF Krasnodar, women’s and men’s teams of RK Vardar in Northern Macedonia, as well as the Russian men’s national team.
