Handball Planet portal summarized the results of the voting for the world’s best handball player following the results of 2023. The survey was carried out on the website of the portal and in social networks. Points of the professional jury, including the head of the Handballfast project Sergey Prigolovkin, were added to the readers' votes.
The Norwegian player Henny Reistad from Danish Team Esbjerg became the best player for the second consecutive year. She gained 33 aggregate points. The Russian player Anna Vyakhireva is only two points behind Reistad. The French pivot Pauletta Foppa became the third (28).
It should be mentioned, that Anna Vyakhireva won the voting for the title of the world’s best right back following the results of 2023.
Handball Planet portal also presented the symbolic team at the end of 2023.

To recall, Anna Vyakhireva was recognized as the world’s best handball player according to Handball Planet in 2019.
