The Chairman of the HFR High Council Sergey Shishkarev expressed condolence to the victims of the tragedy in Crocus City Hall.
— The entire Russian handball community is deeply grieving over the events that took place on March 22 in Crocus City Hall and expresses sincere condolence to the families of those who died as a result of this horrible tragedy. As you know, we suspended handball competitions in all leagues for several days, and the nearest matches will begin with a minute of silence in memory of the victims of affecting its cruelty crime. The Handball Federation of Russia will not stand aside as well and will make a donation to the families of victims. We also ask handball clubs to join this initiative. It can be done either through the revenue from ticket sale for home matches or simply by raising funds by players, coaches, executives and stuff of the clubs, supporters. It is our common pain, and we can’t remain indifferent in this situation, — Sergey Shishkarev said.
