The head coach of the national team of Russia Lyudmila Bodniyeva will assist the head coach of CSKA Olga Akopyan. Anna Sedoykina will train the goalkeepers.
Lyudmila Bodniyeva is a two-time world champion (2001, 2005), a bronze medalist of the European championship (2000), a silver medalist of the European Cup-2006, a participant of the Olympic Games-2012, a three-time champion of Russia (199-2001), the winner of the European Super Cup (2003, 2004), the finalist of the Champions League (2004, 2006).
— I received the offer from the leadership of CSKA to join the coaching staff of the club. Due to my mild occupancy in the national team of Russia I considered this offer to be appropriate and interesting, — said Lyudmila Bodnieva.
The 2016 Olympic champion, the silver medalist of the Olympic Games in Tokyo, the World champion-2009, a two-time European medalist and the Honored Master of Sports Anna Sedoykina returnes to the ranks of CSKA after a year and a half. Anna was the goalkeeper of the club from 2020 to 2022. With CSKA Sedoykina became the champion of Russia and the winner of the Russian Cup and the participant of the Champions League Final Four.
— My return to CSKA was unexpected and pleasant for me. The goals are, obviously, the highest — it cannot be otherwise with such a team. We will keep going towards our goals. It will be an interesting experience for me. I will be glad to pass on my knowledge to girls, — Anna Sedoykina said.
