The Head of the HFR Sergey Shishkarev: "We receive much more support in Asia, they wish to see Russia in competitions on the continent of Asia"

The President of the HFR Sergey Shishkarev told Match! TV about negotiations with the Asian Handball Federation.
 
 — Were there any responses from Asian confederation? I would leave it behind the scenes for now. Even before my election I entered into certain negotiations on this issue. Probably, it can be said that shuttle democracy started. I won’t reveal the essence, because there are no results yet. But the process has began. I am really looking forward to this communication. The President of the International Handball Federation Hassan Moustafa is our associate and guide.
 
I have just returned from Qatar, where I attended the World Cup final. My stay there didn’t pass without a trace. I met with transport and sports authorities of Qatar. They support us very much and would like to see Russia in competitions throughout the Asian continent and oriented towards Russian Federation position, — the TV channel’s website quotes the words of the official.
