The press service of the HFR informed that the right wing of HC CSKA Moscow Daniil Shishkarev is considered to be the MVP of the season-2025/26 among the men's teams. The captain of the capital club excelled for the third consecutive time.
Shishkarev became the best goal-scorer of HC CSKA with all tournaments taken into account (168 goals) and is in the top-5 of his club mates who exceeded the 1000-minute mark of playing time. 55 assists and 31 interceptions (the best result in the team) are on his account. He scored at least 6 goals per game in five out of six matches of the winning playoffs, having scored 35 goals in total.
Coaches of the national championship's teams, sports journalists and supporters participated in a poll, organized by the Handball Federation of Russia. The results were approved by the Supreme Council of the Handball Federation of Russia.
