The Handball Federation of Russia announced the name of the most valuable player of the previous season.
The left back of HC Rostov-Don Daria Statsenko has awarded the title.
Coaches of the national championship's teams, sports journalists and supporters participated in a poll, organized by the Handball Federation of Russia. The results were approved by the Supreme Council of the Handball Federation of Russia.
Three finalists in each nomination were formed following the results of a coaches survey. Points were added to their rate depending on the position in internet voting and in the survey of sports journalists.
Following the results of the past season, Statsenko became the best goal-scorer of her team and is the top-5 of the most resultative players in the women's Super League with 148 scored goals. She also made resultative assists more than other players of HC Rostov-Don (84). Daria is in the top-20 of the best Super League players according to the indicator "block+interception".
