19-year-old Melania Pichugina joined HC Dinamo-Sinara.
The press service of the club from Volgograd informed about her transfer on loan terms from HC Rostov-Don. Krasnodar native spent most of her sports career in Rostov-Don. Pichugina became the bronze medalist of the U-17 European championship in Montenegro with the youth national team of Russia in 2021.
Last season the young pivot participated in two matches of the main Rostov-Don team. She played primarily for HC Rostov-Don-2, the winner of the Premier League.
— The loan was expected. I’m a young player, I need playing practice to gain experience. Dinamo-Sinara is very suitable for me — the back line perfectly sees the front line, all girls are young. I feel comfortable here, — Pichugina told the press service of Rostov-Don.
