The Chairman of the Handball Federation of Russia High Council Sergey Shishkarev told Match TV, that casting and directing search for the film about the victory of the Russian national team at the 2016 Olympic Games will start in summer.
— The sixth version of the script about the victory in Rio finishes. Let me remind you that in a year before we almost received state funding, that provided an occasion to rewrite the screenplay. In my opinion, it turns out to be more exciting. On the one hand, those emotions subside, on the other hand, understanding of the greatness of that victory comes. Remember that it came from nothing. There was no gold at the Olympics for 36 years by that time. Now our task is to finish the script, it will happen in a month. I’m sure, that we will get down to formation of a creative group in summer. We will start casting and directing search in autumn and proceed with shooting of the movie, provisionally titled Handmade Gold, — Shishkarev informed Match TV.
