The left back of Veszprem KC and one of the most famous players of the national team of Russia Sergey Mark Kosorotov became the owner of the award Golden Ball of Handball 2024 among men. 55 sports journalists from Russia and Belarus participated in determining the best handball player of two countries 2024. Kosorotov received 78 points and was only 2 points ahead of his club mate and the right wing of the Belarusian national team Nikita Vaylupov.
The competition for the third place wasn’t less intense. The Belarusian pivot of the Polish KS Kielce Artem Korolek is also two points ahead of the captain of HC CSKA Moscow Daniil Shishkarev.
