Olga Akopyan said goodbye to CSKA in the interview to the club’s press service.
— It has been five incredible years in CSKA, during which we experienced unique emotions and bright moments. The victories in the championship and the Cup of Russia, international matches of European level will remain in my memory forever. Last two seasons turned out to be really intense and difficult, it took lots of efforts. Thus, having consulted with my family, we decided to take a sabbatical. After a short rest I will be ready to plunge into the club coaching activity. At the same time I will continue to work with the youth national team of Russia, we will gather in Novogorsk in late July and then hold a ten-day training session in China. And, of course, I would like to thank all the players, we have come this long way with, coaching and medical staff, employees of the club, the club’s management and sponsors, as well as CSKA numerous faithful fans, without whom we couldn’t have won all our trophies and shown bright and quality game, — Olga Akopyan said.
