The HFR defined the best defender of the women’s handball championship of Russia

Anastasia Illarionova is the best defender of the Super League-2024/25, according to the Handball Federation of Russia. The award in this category went to the pivot of CSKA Anastasia Illarionova for the second consecutive season. The captain of the capital club played in 28 matches and scored 49 goals. 37 blocked throws and 13 steals are on Illarionova’s account.
 
The pivot prolonged the contract with the capital club.
