The leadership of the East division of SEHA-Gazprom League defined the participants of the season-2025/26.
The press service of the league informs that nine clubs will play in the tournament.
A group: Zenit, Chekhovskie Medvedi, Meshkov Brest, SKA Minsk, Victor.
B group: Dinamo Astrakhan, Permskie Medvedi, Masheka, Minsk Regional Handball Club.
To recall, a new system of the tournament was introduced. There are two groups, as before. But top-level teams are gathered in the first group. It was initially planned that the teams ranked first and second in the group will get to the Final Four directly. Teams with lower sports result for today, than in A group, are in the second group. They also play against each other and get a chance to fight in the playoffs with the teams from the top of the tournament standings and also reach the Final Four.
