Sergey Shishkarev talked about a possible match between the national teams of Russia and the USA in an interview with the Russia 24 TV channel.

Such a match will be interesting to both Russians and Americans shortly before the 2028 Olympic Games. Their national teams are not so strong, but they have to expose them for participation in the home Games. I suppose that from a marketing standpoint this match will give a lot to the Americans. Probably, such matches will help them to overcome the preliminary stage of the Olympic tournament. Moscow and Los Angeles, as the capital of the Olympic Games-2026, are the most suitable locations, — the head of the HFR said.
