The Iranian newcomer of HC Voronezh Mohsen Karamian communicated with the club’s press service.
— Do you know anything about the level of the Russian League?
— I have an understanding. Last year I played for Zoghal Sang Tabas against Chekhovskie Medvedi and Permskie Medvedi. I slightly realize what handball is like here. I’ve already understood that workouts are completely different here. It became clear during the training session (laughing). But the preseason is always the most difficult period. I hope it will be easier during the championship.
— Why did you decide to move? What is your motivation to play for Voronezh?
— I wanted to return to European handball, to the home of our sport. I played two years in Croatia and Northern Macedonia and decided to return to that level, a higher than in Asia. I am happy there was such an opportunity.
— How is the adaptation in the team going? Whom did you find common language with?
— I lived in one room with Egor Volynets during the training session. He is a great guy! His English is good and we managed to get to know each other rather quickly.
— You will find the season successful if…
— The team ranks high in the tournament standings and I manage to show my best qualities. I want to be useful. I came here for handball, I’m entirely focused on it, — Mohsen Karamian said.
