The goalkeeper of HC Zenit Viktor Kireev told in an interview to the club’s press service about his return to Russia from the Bundesliga.
— The Bundesliga is the top level in club handball. How difficult is it in terms of motivation to return to the Russian championship, which is objectively seriously inferior in the class?
— There are certain moments, that will help with it. There is one notable club, that I won’t name. Understatement in relationship with it became one of the reasons to return to the Russian championship. I don’t feel like talking about the goals. I just want to do it and that’s all.
— What are the expectations of the rhythm of the upcoming season?
— We all know our expectations of the season in general, they are great. Again, I won’t speak it out loud. Let’s do it first, and then talk. And on the whole Dmitriy Nikolaevich said, that it gets easier every year, but the simplicity is not felt. We are not afraid of preparatory routine. Everything can be considered as routine after a 25-year handball career. That is why it’s always necessary to set certain personal goals in every season.
