The head coach of the men’s national team of Russia Lev Voronin commented on the choice of the line-up for the training session in Sochi.
— Traditionally, the summer training session in July is specifical, since it allows to take a careful look at the candidates to the national team. You can see that there are no players from the club’s backbone in the list now, they are smoothly preparing in their clubs. Together with Valentin Buzmakov we analyzed the potential reserve and we suppose, that following the results of the training session we’ll get necessary information and understand which players of the second and third link can become a real candidate for a place in the national team. The conditions for the training process are excellent on the Yug-sport base, so we will prepare seriously, hold a two-side game. And we’re planning to call the strongest players for the next training session in November and December, by that time it will become clear, whom we will be able to arrange friendly matches with, — Voronin told the press service of the HFR.
