HC CSKA announced the team’s newcomers.
The winner of the national championship will replenish its line-up with six new players.
The goalkeeper Anna Vereshchak and the left back Varvara Semina will join CSKA from HC Dinamo-Sinara. 22-year-old Anna Vereshchak is the winner of the youth world championship, who was repeatedly recognized as the best goalkeeper in the World and European championships. 17-year-old Varvara Semina became the top-scorer of Dinamo-Sinara in the season, having scored 191 balls in 40 matches.
Another left back player Veronika Nikitina from HC Lada will join CSKA. Nikitina, also known for her maiden name Garanina, won medals of the national championship and the Cup of Russia together with the Togliatti team several times and won the European Cup of the EHF twice.
To wing players will come from HC Kuban. They are Ekaterina Levchina and Valeria Sobkalo, who plays on the right flank. 24-year-old Levchina is the winner of the junior World Championship. 22-year-old Sobkalo became the third in HC Kuban by the number of scored goals and minutes spent on the court in the past season.
Valentina Tomilina from HC AGU-Adyif will join the number of CSKA line players. Last season Tomilina was the team’s game time leader and the second top-scorer.
