The Chairman of the HFR High Council Sergey Shishkarev shared his impressions on the final series of the women’s Super League with the HFR press service.
— The match between CSKA and Rostov became an adornment of both the final series, and the handball season as a whole. I found myself thinking that I don’t recall the winner being defined in such an incredible fight in the match with two overtimes for nine years of the HFR leadership. The great Moscow team won gold medals for the third time in five years, and it is an absolutely deserved result.
My congratulations to the coaching stuff and CSKA players. I would also like to address the words of great respect to their rivals. The players of Rostov-Don showed a phenomenal performance, that deserves the most favorable appreciation, as well. I am convinced once again that if the women’s national team of Russia had played in the international area, it would have claimed the highest places, — Sergey Shishkarev said.
