Only two out of nine clubs could claim the increase in class in the women’s Major League — Ufa-Alisa and Sokol.
The team from Bryansk region closes the tournament standings of the championship after 26 matches and lost mathematical chances to reach the competitors from Ufa. Concerning Ufa-Alisa, for the rest of the season Dmitriy Makarov’s team can only claim to be in the top three. But even without this, the team secured itself with the ticket to Super League, where it can return to two seasons after two seasons in Major League. The rest participants of the tournament are the second teams of the Super league clubs and are not able to claim a ticket to the elite division, the official HFR site informs.
