The draw for the men’s Final Four of the Russian Cup will be held on April 3 in the TASS news agency in Moscow.
The HFR High Council members supported the decisive stage of the tournament this year. This year semifinals, the match for the 3rd place and the final match will take place at the Sukharev Arena, where HC Permskie Medvedi hold home meetings. The hosts, the current holders of the trophy HC Chekhovskie Medvedi, HC SKIF Krasnodar and HC CSKA will compete for the Cup of Russia.
The draw for the decisive stage of the tournament will be held in the TASS news agency (Tverskoy Boulevard, 2) and will start at 15:00. The deputy chairman of the HFR High Council Viktor Poladenko and the head coach of the men’s national team of Russia Velimir Petkovic will participate in the draw. As part of the draw the Handball Federation of Russia CEO Lev Voronin will present a new trophy, which will be awarded to the winner of the Cup of Russia starting from this tournament, according to the HFR official website.
