— I incredibly missed it! I couldn’t get here for a long time — it is not only for personal reasons, not related to handball, but due to current complexities with moving around the world. The road would have taken too long. I think everyone would agree that there is no sense to come for one day when you have the Champions League later.
Everything turned out well now, and I’m very happy about that. It was important for me personally and to give an impetus to the rest of the team and to remember our interactions. As well as for those, who came to the stands, I suppose.
By the way, I was delighted to make sure that the public needs handball, people attend it, even if full houses were not everywhere.
Unfortunately, Dima Zhitnikov wasn’t able to play. And as a whole, we didn’t appear in full strength. Did it affect the results? It’s difficult to judge: probably, it would have been more cheerful or maybe not… However, these are nuances, and I will say it again, the main thing is that finally I managed to play in the form of the Russian national team again, — Sergei Mark Kosorotov said.
