The HFR announced the location of the Russian Cup Final Four.
The matches will be held in Perm 13-14 of April. Handball clubs Permskie Medvedi, Chekhovskie Medvedi, SKIF and CSKA reached the decisive stage of the tournament.
— The upcoming Final Four seems to be exciting. Besides the recognized favorites, including Chekhovskie Medvedi and CSKA, SKIF and Permskie medvedi, each of the clubs won the Cup of Russia once, by the way, will compete for the honorary trophy. Concerning the location, the High Council members made a decision in favor of Perm. And it also should be a new impetus to the development and popularization of handball in the region.
Chekhov, where the match between the men’s national teams of Russia and Belarus was perfectly arranged, claimed to host The Final Four on an equal basis. As well as Moscow, which held a similar tournament a year ago. I’m sure, that the Final Four is going to be a great handball holiday for the residents of Perm region, — the Chairman of the HFR High Council Sergey Shishkarev said.
The decisive matches of the Russian Cup will be held in Perm for the fourth time, Cup of Russia was played in this city in 2014, 2015 and 2020.
