The head coach of the national team Lyudmila Bodniyeva resulted the match with the youth team of the country. The friendly match was held in Novogorsk between the women’s national team of Russia and the youth team on March 2. The more experienced players won with a score of 34:18.
— Perhaps, we managed to implement our plan for the game today, in general. At the same time we realized, that the youth team was playing against us and the forces are not exactly equal. And, to be objective, we took three main players from their squad, having weakened them. Taking into consideration the absence of international matches, such experience will be useful for the youth team. Concerning our team, it’s always good to have an opportunity to test our developments not during the two-sided training, but in a friendly sparring. It should be mentioned, that the trio of beginners left a very good impression, they will be involved into the national team in the future, — Lyudmila Bodniyeva said.
