The national team of Russia will participate in the super series of three friendly matches with the team of Belarus. The matches will be held in Kazan, Moscow and Chekhov.
The training session of the Russian national team will start on March 11. The flight to Kazan is scheduled for the same day. The official HFR site informs, the coaching staff headed by Velimir Petkovic determined the composition of the team, that includes 18 players.
The playmaker Dmitriy Zhitnikov, who played for the national team exactly one year ago in Minsk last time in the matches against the hosts, the left back Sergey Mark Kosorotov (who didn’t perform for the team of Russia after the European Championship 20220 and goalkeeper Viktor Kireev, who missed the previous Super Series in Belarus and international friendly matches in January due to injuries, returned to the line-up.
