The captain of HC Rostov-Don Yulia Managarova told in an interview to Handballfast author Nikolay Spirchagov about how she felt about the appointment of Irina Dibirova to the post of the head coach of HC Rostov-Don.
— As they say, if you don’t want to be discouraged, you shouldn’t be enchanted. I had no illusions. Of course, I knew her as a good player, I understood, that she didn’t break close connection with handball since she is married to Timur Dibirov. Certainly they talked a lot about the game, she lived these sports emotions even when she didn’t work. So, everything goes fine now — and that’s what matters!
— What are the main distinctive features of the coach Dibirova?
— Knowing strong qualities of each player and ability to use it in matches from the best side. If someone has a talent to outplay and interact with the line, she will try to create situations for this on the court. She tries to take the best from each player and provide comfortable conditions for showing the brightest abilities of the player.
