The men’s national team of Russia held first workouts under the guidance of Velimir Petkovic at the base in Novogorsk on Sunday, 29 October.
To recall, the Russian team will hold three sparrings with the national team of Belarus in early November. The matches will take place in Mogilev (November 1st), Gomel (3) and Minsk (5).
The line-up was changed. The left back from HC Zenit Mikhail Vinogradov, playmaker from Wisla Plock Dmitry Zhitnikov and goalkeeper of Fuchse Berlin Victor Kireev didn’t come for medical reasons. The left back from HC Meshkov Brest Aleksander Shkurinskiy is also absent, the official HFR website informs.
The back player for HC Chekhovskie medvedi Kirill Akramov, playmaker from HC Victor Sergey Bolotin and goalkeeper from HC Kaustik Nikita Mikhaylov were additionally called to the national team.
