Vasilisa Osadchieva played only in one Super League match in the 2022/23 season as part of HC CSKA, where she demonstrated excellent performance — 8 saves and 50% of reliability.
This figure allowed the 19-year-old player to end the season on top of the list of reliability of League’s goalkeepers.
In the youth championship Osadchieva played in 35 matches, where she reflected 35% of throws. However, the prospective goalkeeper decided to retire. The head coach of the youth CSKA team Roman Lyashenko informed the press service about it.
— Vasilisa has already outgrown the level of the second team. We offered her to play in HC Luch, we were in contact with the coaching stuff. But Vasilisa refused, she wanted to continue playing for the reserve team. We tried to convince her, that she would loose unnecessary year of her career. But finally we came to a conclusion, that it would be better for her to study and find herself in another profession. Vasilisa ended her career in handball, — Lyashenko said.
