The final matches of the Asian qualification for the women's olympic tournament in Hiroshima were held on Wednesday.
In the meeting of two favorites the national team of South Korea was stronger than the team of Japan with a minimal advantage — 25:24. Thus, the Korean team qualified for the Olympic Games for the eleventh consecutive time.
The national team of Japan guaranteed the place in the international qualification. Probably, the team of China which finished third in the asian tournament will also participate in the international qualification.
