The Olympic qualifying tournament among women has begun on Thursday in Hiroshima, where a direct ticket to the Olympic Games in Paris and the pass to Olympic qualification will be raffled off.
The Chinese and Korean teams started their way with victories. The best national team of the Asian tournament will get the direct ticket to the Olympic Games in Paris. The second team will be able to play in the Olympic qualification next spring.

South Korea (10), Japan (2) and Kazakhstan (1) are the only three asian national teams, which participated in the women’s handball competitions at the Olympic Games.
