Russia. The tournament of youth teams in memory of Levon Akopyan became international. Handball players from Armenia will come to Volgograd

In the last decade of August Volgograd will host the traditional all-Russian tournament with participation of women’s youth teams, dedicated to the memory of honored coach of the USSR and RSFSR Levon Akopyan.
 
The competitions will receive the status of international this year — the national team of Armenia will arrive to take part. In addition to Dinamo-Sinara-2 and Dinamo-Sinara-3, Russia will be represented by Zvezda-2 Zvenigorod and Kuban-2 Krasnodar, the official Volgograd club’s website informs.
 
The tournament of memory will be held from 22 to 25 of August in the Sports and Recreation Center named after Levon Akopyan with the aim of preparing the teams for the coming season. Now the Volgograd teams are on away training session under the guidance of coaches Lubov and Anna Sidoricheva in Nevinnomyssk. The athletes will return 16 August.
