In the second match of confrontation for the third place in the women’s championship of Russia HC Zvezda beat HC Lada again on home court (33:32) and won bronze medals!
Penalty goal of Snezhanna Vertushkova lead the Zvenigorod team to victory in the series. Valeria Kirdyasheva from Togliatti team scored 16 goals. The absence of captain Olga Fomina among the guests should be mentioned.
In the dispute for the fifth place HC Kuban was stronger than HC Dinamo-Sinara again (29:20) and became the winner.
