In the first match of the series for the 3rd place of the women’s championship of Russia HC Zvezda reached away victory over HC Lada — 36:34.
The back players-namesakes became the best goal scorers of both teams — Veronika Nikitina from Togliatti and Natalia Nikitina from Zvenigorod. Each of them scored 10 goals.
The second match of the series will be held in Zvenigorod on Monday, 29 May.
