The HC Rostov-Don pivot Ksenia Makeeva told in an interview to Handballfast author Aleksandr Kruzhkov about visiting matches of football club Rostov.
— Do you visit FC Rostov matches?
— Whenever possible. I wasn’t interested in football earlier. But everything has changed after acquaintance with my husband. I started to watch matches for company with him and I was imbued with it. Petr grew up in Volgograd, since childhood he supports Rotor team, but we also get out to Rostov Arena occasionally. The stadium is great and atmosphere is excellent. Lot of pleasure!
I liked Spartak arena as well. I’ve been there single time. Once we were in Novogorsk with the national team, and Sergey Nikolaevich Shishkarev suggested that the team should go to football. He provided us with the tickets. I don’t remember whom Spartak was playing with. Something different etched in my memory — crowded stands that weren't silent not for a moment. It was amazing!
