Velimir Petkovic called 19 handball players to the men’s national team training camp. HC Victor is mostly represented

The coaching staff of the men’s national team headed by Velimir Petkovic determined the line-up for the first training camp of a new season, the HFR press service informs.

The national team will spend the training session in Novogorsk from 8 to 16 October. 19 players are called to the team, HC Victor Stavropol is mostly represented this time, having sent seven players. HC Chekhovskie medvedi delegates six players, HC CSKA sends four, HC Dinamo Astrakhan — two. 
 
Russian men’s national team:
 
Goalkeepers: Andrei Vereshchagin (Dinamo), Artem Grushko (Chekhovskie mededi), Aleksandr Lysenko (Victor);
 
Left wings: Nikita Iltinskiy, Egor Kochura (both from Victor);
 
Right wings: Dmitry Kornev (Chekhovskie medvedi), Aleksey Fokin, Daniil Shishkarev (both from CSKA);
 
Pivots: Radomir Vrachevich (Victor), Aleksandr Ermakov (Chekhovskie medvedi);
 
Right backs: Sergej Ivanov, Dmitriy Kiselev (both from CSKA), Aleksander Kotov (Chekhovskie medvedi);
 
Left backs: Aleksander Grebenkin (Victor), Evgenij Dzemin, Dmitry Santalov (both from Chekhovskie medvedi), Arseniy Ukhvarkin (Dinamo);
 
Playmakers: Inal Aflitulin, Sergey Bolotin (both from Victor);
 
Coaching staff: Velimir Petkovic (head coach), Valentin Buzmakov, Roman Fitilev (goalkeeper coach), Vadim Popov (general physical training coach).
