Elena Mikhaylichenko returns to handball

The official website of the HFR informs that the silver medalist of the Olympics in Tokyo, bronze medalist of the World Cup-2019 and three-time champion of Russia Elena Mikhaylichenko returns to big handball after almost two years. 
 
Last time she was on the court on May 24 2024. She helped the capital team to achieve a hard-earned victory over Rostov-Don in the second overtime with a score of 33:31 and with the championship trophy. And the left back was recognized as the most valuable player of the championship at the end of the season - for the second consecutive time!
 
For the first time in a while the supporters got an opportunity to see Elena Mikhaylichenko’s performance in a recent gala match in honor of the 10th anniversary of the Olympic triumph in Rio de Janeiro. She participated in the match with the Tokyo-2020 national team.
