The head coach of the women’s national team of Russia Lyudmila Bodniyeva shared her expectations of the upcoming training session and friendly matches with the team of Belarus.
— We have a planned training session ahead of us which will open a new season for the national team. Probably, it’s not the best moment for it since the club season has just started and we have to announce the line-up before the beginning of the second round of the championship. Two newcomers were called to the upcoming training session. They are Daria Semina from Lada and Alina Zagorodneva from Dinamo-Sinara. Both of them deserved it with their performance.
Two sparring matches are scheduled for the team in Belarus and I’m sure it will be exciting. There have been changes in our rival’s coaching staff and it means that their team will appear in a bit different line-up. Unfortunately, we have no opportunity to chose our rivals and in the given situation we would like to thank Belarus for the invitation to Minsk to participate in these matches.
