Handball Super Cups of Russia will be played at the end of August

The Supreme Council of the HFR approved the cities and arenas hosting the men’s and women’s Super Cups of Russia.
 
HC Zenit and HC CSKA will fight for the Super Cup for the first time. The match will be held on August 23 in Volgograd. Dinamo-Arena will host the match for the first trophy of the season. CSKA is the current holder of the Super Cup. Two titles are on the account of the capital team.
 
Rostov-Don and CSKA will compete for the women’s Super Cup in Moscow on August 30 at Dynamo volleyball arena. CSKA is the current holder of the Super Cup and has already four trophies. 
 
The official web-site of the HFR will announce the start time of the matches later.
