The press-service of Brest Bretagne Handball announced the transfer of the Russian player Anna Vyakhireva.
The right back of the national team of Russia signed a two-year contract with the French club. To recall, Vyakhireva spent two previous seasons in Norwegian Kristiansand Vipers. Upon the results of last Champions League, the Russian player became the top-scorer of the tournament. 29-year-old right back also claims the title of the best player of year.
According to Scandinavian mass media, Brest Bretagne payed the Norwegian club 170 000 euro to buy out her contract.

I can’t wait to begin a new chapter of my life and I hope to bring a lot of happiness to fans! — Vyakhireva commented on her transfer.

Despite the disappointment, we never stopped the discussion, and a few days ago the window of opportunities opened again. — We wanted to avoid selling Anna’s contract for a long time, but a difficult financial situation forced us to do it, there was no other choice. The board must act in the interest of the club. Kristiansand was at a loss for too long.
