Elena Mikhaylichenko and Yulian Hiryk commented to Sport Express on winning their MVP of the season-2022/23 awards.
— I didn’t expect it, and I am very pleased that my work has been recognized at such a high level. Last time I was named the most valuable player was, probably, at junior competitions. And being the MVP at the adult level is worth a lot. The previous season certainly became the best in my career, since together with my team we won all possible trophies, while personally I grew up and progressed not only as a player, but as leader as well, — Elena Mikhaylichenko said.
— I was glad, when I knew the results of voting, though I didn’t monitor the voting. My aim is to help my team to win, and it’s great, that everything worked out. Although, to be honest, my season turned out to be crumpled due to an injury. I have no recipe for success or any secret, we simply took over due to our play and team spirit. We played well throughout the season, but sometimes we were just unlucky. But we were constantly working, tried to find mistakes and correct them. And it gave result. Now I’ll try to defend two titles the coming season, — Yulian Hiryk shared with Sport Express.
