The Hall of Fame of of the European Handball Federation was opened in a festive atmosphere in Vienna on Monday. 60 players were inducted into the Hall.
In particular, the list of legends includes the Olympic champion, the winner of the Champions League as a player and coach Talant Dujshebaev, 7-time winner of the Champions League Andrey Shchepkin, 6-time holder of the Champions League trophy Sergey Rutenko.
Two-time European champion, the head coach of the Russian national team Lyudmila Bodniyeva, 3-time world champion, two-time winner of the Champions League, the head coach of HC Rostov-Don Irina Dibirova (Poltoratskaya), the world champion in the USSR national team, 7-time winner of the Champions League Ausra Fridrikas were inducted into the Hall of Fame among women.
