Cup of Russia. HC Permskie medvedi seized the initiative from HC Zenit in the middle of the second half and became the first finalists of the tournament

HC Permskie medvedi became the first finalists of the men’s Cup of Russia, having beat HC Zenit Saint-Petersburg with a score of 31:28.
 
HC Zenit was leading in the score at the end of the first half. The advantage increased to 3 goals after Pavel Turaev’s throw with the siren for a break, when the team from Saint-Petersburg had two players less. By the end of the 39th minute HC Zenit was leading 3 goals (23:20). However, the Perm team won the second 5 minutes with a score of 4:0. Having seized the initiative, HC Permskie medvedi, in its turn, were three goals ahead seven minutes before the end of the match and confidently kept the winning score.
 
The goalkeeper from HC Permskie medvedi Andrey Dyachenko reflected 35% of throws. His colleague from Saint-Petersburg Maksim Popov has higher rate — 40%, but he played only 7 minutes.   
 
Aleksander Arkatov (HC Zenit) and Pavel Gnoevoy (HC Permskie medvedi) were considered to be the best goal scorers of the match.
