The Head of the HFR Sergey Shishkarev said in his telegram channel that he plans to meet with the President of the International Handball Federation Hassan Moustafa at the end of next week in Morocco.
- My God, I has already began to forget when I read such positive news: the women's national team of Russia is going to Europe! Indeed, these are friendly matches. Yes, our rival is the national team of friendly Serbia. But the fact remains. Official meetings lie ahead, our girls will be there under the Russian tricolor, our anthem will be played in their honor. I can't believe yet that we managed to break the blockade which lasted for more than four years!
The coaching staff headed by Lyudmila Bodniyeva has already defined the squad for the upcoming training session in Novogorsk which will start on October 16. The flight to Belgrade is scheduled for the 21st. I expect to meet with the President of the International Handball Federation doctor Hassan Moustafa at the end of next week in Morocco.
