In the A group match of the second preliminary stage of the women’s Championship of Russia HC Rostov-Don played a draw with HC Kuban — 26:26.
After the first half the guests led the score, but during most of the second half HC Rostov-Don was leading. Half a minute before the final siren Anastasiya Shavman set equal score on the board. The hosts had an opportunity to get ahead, but they didn’t manage to carry out an effective attack.
Several HC Rostov-Don players are back after lasting injuries. Anastasiya Lagina played in the starting line-up and made 11 saves — 29% of reliability. The playmaker Yaroslava Frolova realized all her 3 throws during 22 minutes on the court. The left wing Kristina Kozhokar didn’t participate in the game.
