The head of the men’s Russian national team Velimir Petkovic in conversation with Handballfast Chief Editor Alexey Lebedev shared his plans for the next training session.
— Who is the initiator of this meeting?
— I am. I visited the youth team in workout. I saw interesting players with good potentialities, whose best qualities should be developed. Why not playing for this purpose against the adult team? And overall I am satisfied with what I’ve seen on the court.
— What is next, what are your plans after the matches with Belarusians in January?
— We’re planning to hold next training session in March. We’ll try to go to the one of Asian countries. As far as I understand, four countries will participate in the tournament. And we would appreciate it if the organizers could invite the European national team, — told Petkovic.
