HC Zenit ceded to HC CSKA at home, despite the fact that during the second half the advantage of the hosts reached 6 balls. The CSKA goalkeeper Stanislav Tretynko reflected 36% of throws. His counterpart Nikita Nikulin made 15 saves. Artur Rud scored the decisive goal a second before the final whistle sounded. HC Zenit had leveled the score before that 10 seconds from the end.
