The reporting elective meeting will be held December, 20.
The HFR President Sergey Shishkarev, vice president Igor Stepanov and CEO Lev Voronin will participate in the hearing as delegated from the Handball Federation of Russia, the HFR press service reports.
The HFR executive committee decided to nominate Sergey Shishkarev to the executive board of the Russian Olympic Committee membership. The HFR put Stanislav Pozdnyakov forward for the post of the President of the ROC.
The Olympic Assembly is the supreme body of the Olympic committee of Russia, the general meeting of its members. It is held at least once a year. The meeting is considered competent if it is attended by more than a half of the ROC members, provided that the majority are representatives of sports, included in the Olympic Games program. In 2022 the assembly will hold regular elections of the ROC President. Stanislav Pozdnyakov, the four-time Olympic champion in fencing, holds this post since 2018.
