SEHA League. HFR and BHF signed an agreement for participation in tournament in 2022/2023 season

The Federation of Handball of Russia and the Belarus Federation of Handball signed an agreement with SEHA League today in Moscow, reports rushandball.ru.
 
The document confirms the HFR and the BHF consent to Russian and Belarusian championship clubs participation in SEHA League 2022/2023. The side also agreed to make all efforts to maintain the high level of the competitions, judging and handball promotion. The agreement was signed by vice-president of SEHA League Boris Sapozhnikov, the HFR president Sergey Shishkarev and the Secretary General of the BFH Andrey Baletsky.    
 
Four teams from each country are expected to take part in new tournament. These are the best clubs of national championships at the end of the 2021/2022 season.  
 
East division: HC Chekhovskie medvedi, HC CSKA, HC Neva SPb, HC Permskie medvedi, HC Meshkov Brest, HC SKA Minsk, HC Gomel, HC Masheka. 
 
Soon the tournament format and regulation will be approved. The new season is planned to start September, 30.
 
RK Vardar from Northern Macedonia became the SEHA League winner for five times, Hungarian HC Veszprem won four times, and one more title went to Croatian RK Zagreb. The 2021/22 season finished September, 4.
